Rough Day Out and About!

This morning I decided to get out of the house and go to pick up a few groceries and things I need for Anthony's Birthday on Saturday.  I also had to get Bella's medication refilled.   So our first stop was the Walgreen's drive thru.  I was behind one other car and of course that car was taking forever!  Luckily Ms. Bella was asleep in the car as always.  We are still waiting and her monitor goes off!  Not a loose wire but the red respiration button lit up.  I had to get out of the car in the middle of the drive thru and check on her.  It did this 2 more times while waiting!  She was fine each time so I'm assuming it was because of the way she was positioned in her seat.  I was about to throw in the towel and just go back home...but decided not to.

Once we were done there, the real question was what store do I go to? I needed a one stop shop so I could get groceries and other stuff.... Target or Walmart?  Somehow I ended up at BJ's!  Well in the 30-35 minutes I was there Bella's monitor went off at least 6 times!  I was so stressed out since it was the respiration light again.  She was fine, but it totally took a toll on me.  Every time I went to grab something off the shelf it went off!  I have come to the conclusion that I will just have to go grocery shopping with Anthony or someone else as long as Bella has this monitor!

Still no word on the EEG...we are patiently waiting.

Oh wow...I'd be pretty frazzled too! Hang in there...I'm sure the monitor is going to be very short term! ;)

Dear Kristen,

My heart goes out to you! I think Bella is getting used to having you all to herself and just wants all of your attention. Hang in there, and hon, you need to give yourself a lot of credit, you are a great mom. This too will soon pass. Have faith! love you,
Martha
