Rain Rain Go Away!

Bella continues to do well and is eating and sleeping great. She also continues to be episode free. We all had a busy day as her awesome nurse Alaina showed us how to bathe her. Yes we learned at the baby care class on a doll, but it's different when you have a 5-6 lb slippery baby in your hands. Bella was really good, and didn't fuss at all. We also learned how to administer her medicine to her as well once we are home.

It couldn't be any more depressing out with Tropical Storm Fay lingering. Today was just nasty as it was rainy and windy all day. I know that the weather didn't help with my emotions either. I would just look at someone and cry! I didn't realize it would be like this! But all the nurses and dr.'s were great with me today. It looks like they want to monitor Bella for a full 7 days then re-evaluate and possibly send us home. But we have realized that nothing is ever set in stone! Her dr. is being very cautious which is fine by us.

Anthony has been wonderful with me today. I don't know how, but he always has the right words to say. I guess I've learned today that you can't worry about tomorrow, only today! I have a lot of fears for Bella's growth and development especially with the mini seizures she has had. But like I did while pregnant with Bella I have to leave it in God's Hands!

Tony and Cortni came to visit Bella tonight with Anthony while I slept at the RMH. Anthony was able to show off his Daddy skills to them. He fed her a full 2 oz in a bottle and he changed her diaper and burped her. He is such a good Dad!

Well we better go for now, tomorrow is a new day! We will post pics in the morning.
