Our Weekend

SATURDAY

We got invited by Yario (Mario and Yari) to a Pool party BBQ. It was a good time catching up with Anthony's old co-workers and good eats. Yari also made some good Margaritas and Mojitos.

On Tuesday July 10th will be our 3 year anniversary, so we celebrated this weekend! Anthony first surprised me with dinner at Seasons 52. It was delicious! We have never been there before and we loved it all! All the meals are 475 calories or less and they serve dessert in shot glasses. Since Anthony told them it was our anniversary they gave each a glass of champagne.

Several months ago we found out that Blue Man Group was going to have their own theatre at City Walk. So we agreed to celebrate our anniversary with tickets to the show. Anthony has always wanted to go and I am always up for something new! We had no clue what to expect. We just new that they used tubes for music and alot of paint. We were in the 7th row, center. Great seats. The first 4 rows are poncho seats, which they warn you will get messy. I was a little concerned since they were so close. We wont go into too much detail in case some of you are planning on going. We will say this. It's not at all what we expected and we felt like we were on Drugs in a Rave. (not that we have ever done either, but if we had it would be what we experienced at the show!)

SUNDAY

At the end of the month the Simpson's Movie comes out in theatres. In honor of the movie, there have been twelve 7-11's that have been transformed into the legendary Kiwk-E-Mart from the show. Orlando was one of the cities chosen. So we drove down on Sunday to the Disney area to see it. It literally looks like a Kwik-E-Mart. They had Buzz Cola, Squishee's, and Krustee O's! They had the characters all over the store. It was funny seeing all the locals taking pictures and the tourists really had no clue what the big deal was. Growing up the with the show both Anthony and I thought it was cool. Stay tuned for our pictures from the Kwik-E-Mart.
