On Saturday Dec 3rd, UCF hosted the inagural Conference USA Championship at the Citrus Bowl hosted by XBOX 360 (Kristen still thinks everyone should of gotten an XBOX since they were the sponsor!).
Approximately 51,978 fans filled the Citrus Bowl to watch UCF try to clinch the Division Title. Unfortunately, Tulsa beat us 41-27...but we still have the best turnaroud season in 2005 going from 0-11 last year to 8-4 this year!
So we lost yesterday, but what a reward for the team.....playing in the Aloha Bowl in Honolulu Hawaii!! Are we going? Well that is still yet to be determined.
We had an awesome tailgate with about 20 of our friends. A little different than the traditional burgers and hot dogs. Since it was a noon game we did a breakfast tailgate. Everything from donuts to eggs and pancakes and you cant forget the mimosas and Bocce Ball.
Congrats to the UCF Football team for an awesome turnaround year. We can't wait for next year and 2007 when we get to play in our new on campus stadium..GO KNIGHTS!
